Character's Name: Don John Masters
Age: 24
Occupation: Bank Teller by Day / Dungeon Master by Night

Brief Physical Description:
Don is a 24 year old male with somewhat unkempt blue/violet hair and large circular glasses akin to stereotypical bookworms. He is seen usually wearing his work clothes: a simple sky blue dress shirt tucked into his clean white slacks. While playing “Critters and Caverns”, Don wears a special magatama oni mask and a hooded cloak that is held together by a pendant that doubles has his personal D20 die when making special rolls.

Brief Personality Description:
Don has always been fairly soft spoken and timid. He currently works at a bank by day and is incredibly polite to his coworkers and clients. All of his actions are well thought out and he puts forth his best efforts to not only provide the best service to his clients but also his gaming community. However, the second he puts on his cloak and mask, the shy demeanor evolves into a charismatic one and he thrives on giving eloquent speeches and vivid details for all to imagine at table. His confidence level skyrockets and his natural wit allows him to maneuver through all outcomes that his players and the dice throw his way.

Connection to canon characters (if applicable):
Trucy and Athena went to go deposit their recent paychecks at the local bank, when Trucy notices that one of the bank tellers has a bunch of fantasy themed knick knacks (namely a wand) on display. Intrigued, Trucy asks the teller if he is a magician to which he responds that he is greater than a magician. Some days he is a warlock who studies the arcane arts and other days he is a savage barbarian. He catches himself talking enthusiastically and becomes shy again, revealing to them he was joking and that he is merely a dungeon master for the hit role playing game “Caverns and Critters”. He tells them that he runs various campaigns for different groups of people throughout the week and that they should definitely come to that day’s session because two of his favorite players will be there (which is a real treat because they are usually so busy and thus only meet up once every other month). They would both make characters as they play in Don's campaign. Trucy is Zakerye the Valiant Wizard and Athena plays as Tethys the Compassionate Cleric.
It turns out Edgeworth and Kay are the two players in question. Edgeworth plays as the Great Mitsurugi, an honorbound samurai warrior and Kay acts as Yatagarasu, Mitsurugi’s cunning ninja sidekick. Obviously Edgeworth is super embarrassed to see Trucy and Athena, but stays in character the entire night as if nothing is wrong.

Brief Background:
Don was actually born into the Fey household but abandoned by his extremist mother after finding out he was male and thus a plague to her traditional beliefs. The only keepsake left of his heritage was a blanket (which he later fashioned into his cloak) and an Oni mask set with a magatama symbolizing he was unwanted. He was luckily found by the loving Masters family, who were visiting the town of Kurain and adopted shortly afterward.
Growing up, Don was very shy kid with a big imagination. Due to this, he always prefered sticking his nose in a book or dreaming up grand stories of adventure and fantasy. Wanting to support his interests and have him branch out to his peers, Don's parents bought him a copy of "Caverns and Critters" the popular Role Playing Game and he instantly fell in love. By taking on the role of Dungeon Master, the stories and worlds he loved to develop in his mind were manifested into epic campaigns that others could take part in. The level of depth he put into every campaign put all of his players in awe and made him quite the superstar in the RPG world, drawing in the even the most experienced of players to his table. This constant state of deep thought and fantasizing unknowingly became some sort of spiritual training and a small bit of the latent Fey spiritual energy within him became unlocked each time he wore the mask and ran his campaigns. He was able link each players thoughts with his own and let them visualize first hand the campaign in his mind. Everyone just thought he was a great storyteller, which indeed was true, but his spiritual power assisted in developing such a rich narrative that came to life within the theatre of the mind.
Upon hearing of his potential, Don’s biological mother wanted to use his craft for personal gain and snuck her way into one of his sessions (the one with Trucy, Athena, Kay, and Edgeworth). Verifying for herself that indeed he somehow possessed the ability to use the Fey’s spiritual energy, she sought to claim him as her son. To do so, she murders Don’s adoptive mother and pins the blame on the new player, Trucy Wright. It would be up to Athena to help Trucy out of this mess!

Other Information:
- While he goes by his first name Don, his full name is pronounced Dungeon Master.
- Additionally he “dons” a mask when he becomes a DM
- When on the witness stand, he would try his best to be helpful, but after cracking a few times under the pressure, he would wear his mask and provide a very competent testimony
- I wasn’t able to exact draw it but my ideas for certain emotes would be as follows:
- Thinking: takes out d20 from pendant or glasses from face and starts cleaning it
- Nervous: nervously shakes a dice cup
- Shocked: happens after nervous animation but gets caught off guard and dice break free of the cup and scatter all around
- Angry: pulls out a DM Screen, hides behind it, and starts throwing dice
- Breakdown: he would get knocked back and dramatically pull himself up back onto the witness stand and slip on his mask and glare intently back at the judge.
- Confident (masked): takes his signature d20 out of his pendant and tosses it up and catches it repeatedly
