Brief Physical Description:
Height – 150cm
A young girl with light freckles and champagne pink hair that fades to blonde tones.
Claire keeps all the art supplies she needs on her person. Because of this, her altered jacket usually appears bulky as a result of packing too many papers inside. Other materials are either stored in her hair accessory or generally appear around her neck and even up her sleeve. Her love for food is outweighed by her desire to stay lean for extra storage space in her handy jacket.
Claire cuts her own hair and is fairly proud of her fringe, even though it's often uneven and changes style every few months.

Brief Personality Description:
From a young age Claire has been a very peppy girl who's not afraid of showing her passions. As she has matured, she remains a sweet and easy to befriend person. However, Claire has a shy side and often gets emotional and embarrassed when she hears compliments about her artworks.
She is skilled at most handcrafts and created the small carry case for art supplies that is kept on her head. (She claims the reason for keeping it there is because she thinks doesn't have enough hair volume for two perfect hair puffs, so decided to make one herself!)
Claire also owns two loving cats, Peach and Sissel, who can be seen as a main design inspiration for most of her clothes, accessories and other inventions.
She can sometimes be caught doing impressions of the Judge and giggling under her breath when watching him work.

Connection To Canon Characters:
Claire is the Judge's granddaughter and works as his personal court artist. At first the Judge allowed media coverage in his courtroom, but the flash photography now has a bad impact on his vision. As such, he arranged for his granddaughter, an aspiring artist, to be hired in order to preserve the visual aspect of his proceedings.
Claire also has a close friendship with Gumshoe.

Brief Background:
When she was 8, Claire became very interested in crime-fighting and her grandfather's work as a judge. She heard many stories of Gumshoe saving the day and had a very childish crush on a brave, superhero-like imagination of the detective. The fantasy quickly ended when she met him in real life, where he was seen eating a packed lunch his girlfriend made him and constantly being pushed around by Edgeworth. However, they became close friends and are now allies in pursuit of the truth!
She became an important witness when a victim was found strangled to death in addition to small puncture wounds across his neck, but no murder weapon could be uncovered. The killer had used a long-toothed headband to commit the crime and passed the accessory on to Detective Gumshoe, who easily became convinced it was a good look for him. Claire captured the moment he was wearing the headband by chance, providing evidence to help uncover the mystery – just before leading to Gumshoe's (temporary) position as a potential suspect!

Trivia:

• Claire Fortruthe is wordplay on "Colour for (the) truth".
• When she feels stressed, Claire will use a piece of paper, usually with a quick doodle of a smile, to cover her obviously unhappy face. This lead to a distressing breakdown when she realised she accidentally got Gumshoe suspected, covering herself in fake smiles.
• Despite raising two cats, Claire's favourite animal is a rabbit. As such, in addition to her clothes being inspired by her cats, she is also seen wearing rabbit motifs. She likes their puffy tails.
